PATOLA : name given to textile, double ikat of silk, produced in Gujarat in India. Imported in the 16th and 17th centuries by spice merchants. Special motifs in star shape.
PALEPAI : Cotton ikat, with additional plot in cotton or silk. Original of Kroe, to the south of Sumatra. It means ship, the horizontal format varies between 60 and 80 cm wide and between 200 and 400 long. Object transmitted to the first-born men of the aristocracy for its use in rites of "transmission ceremonies".
PUA : term used by the Dayak to designate the fabric that appears suspended during ceremonies.Terme utilisé par les DAYAK pour ce textile qui est suspendu lors des cérémonies.
