TAMPAN : Ikat of cotton, additional plots of cotton or silk. Square between 40
and 90 cm approximately. It comes from Kroe, to the south of Sumatra.
Of a use and appropriateness larger than the Palepai. Extremely rare.
TATIBIN : Ikat of cotton, with additional plot of cotton or silk. Of reduced Size, between 35 and 45 cm wide and between 100 and 120 cm long. Original of Kroe, in the south of Sumatra.
TORAJA :ethnic group of the centre of Celebes. They are animistic, but many have converted to Christianity.
ADDITIONAL WEFT :The third kind of fabric known as the "BOATS OF THE DEAD, in the SOUTH OF SUMATRA. The weaver employs a very particular method to create motifs on the weaving loom; it uses a thread with additional weft, uninterrupted and free.

fabric of all those of the Batack, it is used like important gift of
exchange during ceremonies.
